South Lake Tahoe Courses

Rock Course at Oneidas
Basically turn off of Pioneer on to Oneidas, follow it… keep going, you’ll go over a stream on a bridge at the bottom of a dip. From there you’ll start to head up hill. It’s hard to describe exactly how far up the hill you’ll go but I would say roughly ¾ of a mile. The course is right before a curve left; there are some large boulders and a place to park. It’s a large shady wooded course perfect for woodsball.

Boneyard at Oneidas
We don’t play here often but it’s an okay course and it’s where we started playing paintball. Turn off of Pioneer onto Oneidas and follow it until you reach a forest service sign next to a pull out. Turn right. You’ll drive though a gate and go to the bottom of the hill where it flattens out and park. This course is full of dead trees (hence the name boneyard) and is usually fast paced although there is a thickly wooded stream area in the back (just don’t fall in the stream and rip your pants like Neil)

Colony Inn
This is a favorite of many fast paced players. It’s behind the Colony inn behind the Raley’s shopping center at Stateline. Drive to the right of the Colony into their side parking lot and up a dirt road. Park. Go diagonally right up a large hill until you reach an area with some bunkers. It’s a nice course with many hiding spots that’s great for large groups.

Jiccarilla
Turn off of pioneer onto Jiccarilla. Go to the end until you reach a cul-de-sac. Park there, and walk along a trail until you reach the base of a small hill with some little bunkers and wide open trees. Set up and play. This is a decent course built by Gavin Booth, and Cory and Kyle Mazonie (hope I spelled that right). It is nice for smaller groups (6-14).

Directions and field descriptions by Eli Kitchel, which is crazy because he usually doesn’t even put this much effort into school.
